1) Where to get a legitimate Rank Math Pro license Buy directly from Rank Math. This ensures you get a real license, access to support, and automatic updates. Do not use “nulled”/GPL club copies — they often break auto-update, contain malware, and are illegal. 2) Install Rank Math (Free) + Rank Math Pro (zip) Install the free Rank Math from WordPress.org (Plugins → Add New → search “Rank Math”) or download from Rank Math site. Purchase Rank Math Pro on RankMath.com and download the Pro zip from your account area. In WP admin go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload & activate the Pro zip. (Pro is an add-on on top of free.) 3) Activate your Pro subscription (connect account) Rank Math now activates by connecting your website to your Rank Math account (you don’t have to paste a key manually): In WP admin go to Rank Math SEO → Dashboard → Help. Click Connect Now (or “Activate” / “Connect Account”) and sign in with the email you used to purchase Rank Math. Select the subscription and click Activate. If you used a different email to buy Pro, log in to Rank Math with that email first. 4) How Auto-Updates work (and how to enable them) Auto-updates for Pro come when your site is connected to your Rank Math account. If your site is correctly connected and your subscription is active, Pro updates should appear in the normal WP Updates page. If you want WordPress to auto-apply plugin updates automatically, you can enable auto-updates per plugin on Plugins → Installed Plugins → Enable auto-updates — that works for Rank Math once updates are visible there. If you use a site manager (ManageWP, MainWP, InfiniteWP), you can also enable automatic plugin updates there. 5) Troubleshooting — common activation / auto-update problems & fixes If Pro is installed but the site still shows “Free” or you don’t get updates: Reconnect your Rank Math account WP admin → Rank Math SEO → Dashboard → Help → Disconnect Account → then Connect Now and sign in with the correct Rank Math account. That fixes most issues. Make sure you used the same email for Rank Math account that you used to purchase Pro. If you used a different email, log into the purchase email account on RankMath.com. Download & reinstall the official Pro plugin from your Rank Math account (in case the archive was corrupted). Then reconnect. Check file permissions & hosting restrictions — auto-updates require the server to allow the plugin update process (filesystem access). If your host blocks direct updating, you may have to update manually or use WP CLI / host panel.
